Are you a caregiver for someone with Alzheimer’s? A stroke patient? Someone with other chronic, long term health issues? If so, then you likely will at some point be faced with a difficult issue that includes legal questions. Are you prepared?
Results from a recent survey reveal that most caregivers feel they do not have the information they need to deal with the challenges of caring for a loved one with a chronic illness such as Alzheimer’s Disease, ALS and stroke.
Seaside United Methodist Church will be hosting a workshop on February 20 that hopes to provide resources to dealing with this challenging issue. This workshop will familiarize participants with legal issues and documents related to caregiving and will receive guidance on planning for future.
Our workshop will be held on February 20, 2014. Registration begins at 1:00 PM and the Program will run from 1:30 – 2:30 PM
Our Presenter will be Lisa Salines-Mondello, J.D. LL.M attorney with Salines-Mondello Law Firm, PC & counsel to the Elder Law Firm of Andrew Olsen.
