Seaside United Methodist Church is honored to host its 4th Annual Women’s Day By The Sea on Saturday February 25, 2012. The day will begin at 8:15 am with a continental breakfast; the program starts at 9 am with a break for lunch and concludes in the sanctuary at 4:00 pm. The fee for the event is $25.00 and is open to all women.
Our guest speaker this year is Virelle Kidder. For over twenty-five years Virelle has been writing and speaking about the love of God. A full-time writer, Virelle once hosted her own daily radio talk show in New York’s capital district. Now living in Florida, she is still focused on encouraging women on their spiritual journey. She is the author of six books including her newest releases, Meet Me at the Well and The Best Life Ain’t Easy. Virelle served for many years as a contributing writer for Today’s Christian Woman and she is widely published in several national magazines including Decision, Pray!, Journey, HomeLife, Tapestry and others.
Lisa Troyer, our soloist, comes to us from Ohio. A Moody Radio personality, Lisa loves to encourage women through conferences, songwriting for Lifeway Workshop and her daily radio program. Lisa is a founding member of the Circle of Friends leadership team and has also contributed to projects produced by national ministries NEED HIM and American Family Radio. Lisa has also just released her new book, A Place to Belong, Out of our Comfort Zone and Into God’s Adventure.
