Event Leader: Ken Doern
Description of event: Provide varied selection of music on days (2) of the Country Fair. On the second day of the fair set up sound system for the Live Auction. Music is stopped during the hours of the Live Auction. Make periodic announcements highlighting Country Fair events and special announcements that may be needed to promote certain venues, such as Food Court offerings and hours meals are being served. This event can be done by one person or augmented by a second person employing a “tag team” concept throughout the business hours each day. Setup is done each morning between 7:00am and 8:00am. Portable sound equipment , amplifier and speakers, is provided by SUMC. All music and equipment needed to reproduce is the responsibility of the event leader. Music currently being used is stored on a personal iPod, which is connected to the portable sound system via patch cords.
