Description of Event:
The Book Nook is a collection of books, movies and music that has been donated to Country Fair. The donated items are categorized and boxed, to be displayed during the Country Fair. Help is needed to assist buyers to find a particular genre or item during the sale.
Schedule of Work:
Books are donated from April to August. The team gathers to work when there is a critical mass of donated books collected. Volunteers sort and categorize the books, DVDs and CDs by genre. The boxed items are transported to the church on Wednesday before Country Fair. Thursday, volunteers display the books and other items by category on the tables. Volunteers are needed as cashiers and to help customers find just what they are looking for. At the end of the fair, help is needed to box the remaining books and deliver to another nonprofit for their use. We could use your help!
