First Impressions

Here at Seaside, we are looking for a few good people to participate in the important ministry of hospitality by serving as a volunteer office receptionists. Our receptionists generally serve in two hour shifts answering the phones, directing calls, greeting and assisting visitors as they come in the door, assisting in office projects, and on the occasional quiet afternoon, you may even have an opportunity to get in some light reading! In the process you will meet new people, learn about the many ministries at Seaside, and to share the love of Christ through your church.

The church office is an important part of the ministry team of any church and this is certainly true at Seaside.  As the years have passed, the roles and expectations of the church office have greatly expanded.  Modern technology has helped our office team to become more efficient.  At the same time, the weekday activities at the church have also grown.

This year, our Staff Parish relations committee has asked us to expand the role of our volunteer receptionists to provide coverage during most of regular office hours.  Consequently, we need additional faces and hands and voices.  Can you help?

A training session is scheduled for Noon on Tuesday, March 18. Please contact our office manager, Darcie Kleino for more information, or join us on March 18.
