Due to the immanent threat of Tropical Storm Julia, we will postpone the 2016 Country Fair until next weekend, September 23-24 Due to Tropical Storm Julia the Country Fair Steering Committee decided that it was best to postpone the Country Fair to next week, September 23 and 24. I was talking with someone new to our area recently and when she learned I was connected to Seaside, she brightened up and said, “Oh, I have heard about your fair and I can’t wait!” For many, September means the ending of the summer season, the beginning of school, football season and (mercifully) cooler weather.
The 2015 Country Fair for Seaside United Methodist Church is now history. We want to thank everyone who participated through leadership, labor, donations, prayers and attendance. Calling all able-bodied BODIES and TRUCKS and their owners/drivers. Please set aside Wed. morning, Sept 16th, at 8:30 to help with transporting the yard sale items from storage to the Church grounds. On Thurs. morning, Sept.17th, immediately after we worship together, transporting the auction items will begin. Saturday, Sept. 19th, all who can take down
The last day for Country Fair drop-offs will be September 8th (Tuesday). If you need us to pick up large items from your home or business, please contact the church office (910-579-5753) by Friday, September 4th to arrange for a pickup. Again, many thanks to all who have so generously donated this year.

The Country Fair presents Spring Fling Clothing Sale on Saturday, June 13th, from 10am to 2pm. There will be a wide array of quality new and gently used clothing for men, women and children. Food and drinks will be available for sale. Look for the tents on the church grounds. Rain date will be June
The Country Fair Children’s Corner has become a popular part of the annual fair. We feature face painting and bouncy houses and an open area in which children are allowed light, supervised play. This is a free portion of the fair and allows parents the ability to browse and shop in the yard sale while
